Trading Terms & Risk Disclosure

1. Acceptance of these Terms

By accessing or using DevNetLynx Trading services, you acknowledge that you have read and understood these Terms and the associated risk disclosures. Additional product-specific terms may apply to particular software or services.

2. Technology Provider

DevNetLynx Trading is intended to provide technology, software and general informational tools. Unless expressly stated otherwise and lawfully authorised, DevNetLynx does not act as your financial adviser, investment adviser, broker, portfolio manager or fiduciary.

3. No Financial or Investment Advice

Information generated or displayed by a DevNetLynx tool is provided for general informational and technological purposes. Users must independently decide whether any transaction is appropriate for them.

DevNetLynx does not assess your personal financial circumstances, investment objectives, financial needs, risk tolerance or suitability unless a future service expressly states otherwise and all legally required authorisations are in place.

4. Trading Risk

Trading financial markets involves substantial risk. Markets may move rapidly and unpredictably. You may lose some or all of the capital committed to trading and, depending on the instrument, account and leverage arrangements, additional obligations may arise.

You are responsible for understanding the products you trade, leverage, margin requirements, position sizing and the risks applicable to your trading account.

5. Automated Trading Risk

Automated trading systems cannot eliminate trading risk. A bot may open, manage or close trades according to programmed rules, but its behaviour and results may be affected by market volatility, price gaps, spreads, slippage, liquidity, latency, connectivity, configuration, broker execution, platform availability, third-party systems, software defects, data quality and other circumstances.

Users remain responsible for deciding whether to enable automated trading, selecting their account settings and risk parameters, and monitoring their trading environment.

6. Indicators, Signals and Market Information

Indicators, alerts, signals, dashboards and market analysis may be incomplete, delayed, inaccurate or incorrect. A signal or technical condition is not a guarantee that a market will move in a particular direction.

7. No Guarantee of Performance

DevNetLynx does not guarantee profits, returns, income, win rates, account growth, loss prevention or any particular trading result.

Historical, hypothetical, simulated, backtested or demo performance does not guarantee future results. Live trading conditions may differ materially from testing or simulation.

8. User Responsibility

You are responsible for your own trading decisions, account, capital, leverage, risk limits, software configuration and use of DevNetLynx Trading tools. You should not trade money you cannot afford to lose.

Where appropriate, obtain independent advice from an appropriately authorised financial professional before making financial decisions.

9. Brokers and Third Parties

DevNetLynx does not control third-party brokers, trading platforms, market-data providers, payment providers or other external services. Their availability, execution, pricing, terms, security and conduct remain subject to their own systems and agreements.

A reference or link to a third party does not by itself constitute an endorsement or guarantee of that party's services.

10. Affiliate Disclosure

DevNetLynx may in future participate in affiliate or referral arrangements with selected third parties. Where applicable, DevNetLynx may receive compensation when a user follows a partner link or completes a qualifying action.

Applicable commercial relationships should be considered together with your own independent assessment of the provider or service.

11. Software Availability and Technology Risk

No software or online service can be guaranteed to operate without interruption, defects or errors. Maintenance, updates, infrastructure failures, internet outages, cybersecurity incidents, third-party failures or technical problems may affect availability.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, DevNetLynx will not be liable for trading losses or indirect, incidental, consequential or special losses arising solely from market movements, trading decisions, third-party services, or reliance on outputs from DevNetLynx Trading tools.

Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or limits any liability or consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under applicable law.

13. No Warranty of Trading Results

To the extent permitted by applicable law, DevNetLynx makes no warranty that any trading tool will be suitable for a particular user's objectives or produce a particular financial outcome.

14. Intellectual Property and Licence

DevNetLynx software, branding, documentation, interfaces and other proprietary material remain protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Access to a product does not transfer ownership of DevNetLynx intellectual property.

Product-specific licence restrictions may prohibit unauthorised copying, redistribution, resale, modification or circumvention of technical licensing controls.

15. Legal and Regulatory Compliance

Users are responsible for determining whether their use of a particular trading product, broker, market or service is lawful in their jurisdiction.

DevNetLynx may restrict products, functionality or availability where necessary for legal, regulatory, commercial or risk reasons.

16. South African Operations

DevNetLynx Trading currently operates from South Africa. These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa, subject to mandatory rights, consumer protections and jurisdictional rules that cannot lawfully be excluded.

17. Future United States Operations

DevNetLynx may subsequently establish or transfer relevant operations to a United States entity. If that occurs, the contracting entity, governing-law provisions and these Terms may be updated. Existing users will be provided with the applicable updated terms where required.

18. Changes to Trading Products

Trading products and features may be updated, replaced, suspended or discontinued. Features described as planned, experimental, beta, in development or coming soon are not guaranteed to be released.

19. Changes to these Terms

DevNetLynx may update these Terms as products, regulations, jurisdictions and business operations change. The current version and effective date will be displayed on this page.
