Developer Agreement & Onboarding Terms
Terms for independent developers and service providers using DevNetLynx.
1. Relationship
Developers use DevNetLynx as independent service providers. Nothing in this agreement creates employment, partnership, agency or authority to bind DevNetLynx unless expressly agreed in writing.
2. Registration and Approval
A developer must create a developer account and profile and may be required to complete identity, business, payment and other verification required by DevNetLynx or its payment provider. Registration does not guarantee approval or access to paid projects.
3. Accurate Information
Developers must provide truthful and current information about identity, location, skills, experience, availability and payment eligibility. False, misleading or unverifiable information may result in rejection, suspension or termination.
4. Project Obligations
- Only accept work the developer is reasonably able and legally permitted to perform.
- Follow the agreed project scope, milestones and reasonable delivery requirements.
- Submit deliverables through the platform where the workflow requires it.
- Communicate material delays or blockers promptly.
- Do not submit malicious code, unlawfully obtained material or content that infringes third-party rights.
5. Payments and 20% Platform Fee
The currently intended DevNetLynx platform/service fee is 20% of the applicable project or milestone amount. The developer portion is the balance after the platform fee, subject to any disclosed payment-provider adjustments, refunds, chargebacks, taxes, withholding or other lawful deductions.
A developer is not entitled to payment merely because a customer initiated checkout. Funding must be confirmed and the applicable work must reach the required approval/release stage. Payouts will be made only through the payment/payout mechanism approved for DevNetLynx's marketplace structure.
6. No Escrow Representation
DevNetLynx does not represent itself as a bank or escrow provider. Any safeguarding, split-payment, settlement or payout function is subject to the facilities and approvals of the relevant regulated payment provider.
7. Revisions, Disputes and Refunds
Developers must participate in reasonable dispute and revision processes. Amounts may be held from release or adjusted where there is a genuine unresolved dispute, refund, chargeback, fraud investigation, duplicated payment, material non-performance or payment-provider/legal requirement.
8. Confidentiality and Intellectual Property
Developers must protect confidential customer information and use it only for the relevant project. Developers must have the right to supply all deliverables and must disclose material third-party licence restrictions. Project-specific intellectual-property transfer is subject to the customer/developer agreement and payment for the applicable work.
9. Taxes and Legal Compliance
Developers are responsible for their own tax, business-registration, licensing and other obligations applicable to their independent services, except where DevNetLynx is legally required to withhold or report amounts.
10. Suspension and Termination
DevNetLynx may reject, suspend or terminate a developer account for failed verification, fraud, security concerns, repeated material non-performance, abuse, prohibited activity, payment risk or material breach. Outstanding legitimate project/payment obligations remain subject to applicable law and payment-provider rules.
11. Acceptance
By registering or continuing to use a developer account after these terms are presented, the developer agrees to this Developer Agreement and the associated platform policies.
